Bites Camera Action Kicks Off Monday, July 10

The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) kicks off its new free summer event series, Bites Camera Action, with a screening of “Back to the Future” and live music by The Graham Tichy Trio. Combining the BID’s popular Fork in the Road food truck events and Deja View outdoor movie series, Bites Camera Action offers six consecutive Monday evenings of films, food vendors, live music from the area’s best bands and DJs, movie trivia, and games for all ages. The events run weekly from July 10 to August 14.

Made possible through a partnership between the BID, the City of Albany, ParkAlbany, Christ’s Church Albany, The Hollow Bar + Kitchen and the Palace Theatre, movies in the series were chosen following an online survey completed by over 1,000 community members.

The movie begins at 8:30 p.m. in Tricentennial Park (Broadway & Columbia Street), but live music and food vendors will be taking place from 5:00- 8:00 p.m.
