Discover how bicyclists can bring business to your community on Tuesday, September 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady for the “Bicyclists Bring Business!” Roundtable. Get an update on development of the Erie Canalway Trail across the state and learn what others across the nation are doing to market to and profit from the cycling tourist.
Also, on Wednesday, September 16 starting outside Proctors Theatre, join “Bike-a-Round Schenectady”. Bike along the Erie Canalway/Hudson-Mohawk Bike-Hike Trail into Schenectady and experience the city from the perspective of a cycling tourist. Afterward, discuss the results of the Bike-a-Round discovery tour during lunch at Bombers Burrito Bar, 447 State Street inSchenectady.
Both events are sponsored by Parks & Trails New York and the New York State Canal Corporation and hosted by Proctors Theatre, City of Schenectady, Friends of the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail, Schenectady County, and the Capital District Transportation Committee.
