Bestpass, Inc., a company that provides single-source payment and streamlined toll management services to commercial fleets, recently promoted Chuck Ayers to Director of Finance. As head of the company’s Finance team, he oversees all functional activities and policies related to finance and accounting.
“Chuck has been an invaluable member of the Management team for more than five years, and we are enthusiastic about his expanded role as Director of Finance,” said John Andrews, President and CEO of Bestpass. “Bestpass has been growing rapidly, and the breadth of Chuck’s career experience combined with his depth of knowledge about our service will be critical in guiding ongoing expansion.”
Prior to his promotion, Ayers was the company’s Corporate Controller. He has nearly 25 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, cash management, and financial and strategic planning for both domestic and international operations. Before joining Bestpass, he was Assistant Controller at Colwell & Salmon Communications in Colonie.
Ayers earned his accounting degree from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. He resides in Colonie, where he serves as acting treasurer of the Shaker Road Elementary School PTA and coaches his son’s Little League team.
