Berkshire Bank Opens New State-of-the Art Branch in Farmington, CT

Berkshire Bank announced the opening of its newest branch in Farmington, CT located at 763 Farmington Avenue, bringing the number of Berkshire Bank locations in Connecticut to 8. The Bank will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting event on Tues, Oct. 24, 2017 at 11AM where Berkshire executives will present a $5,000 check to the Stanley Whitman House. The public is invited and encouraged to attend, and refreshments will be served.

The Stanley Whitman House, located at 37 High St. in Farmington, teaches the community through the preservation, research, and collection of the history and culture of early Farmington. The Stanley Whitman House was chosen based on its dedication and commitment to the Farmington community.

As part of the celebration, there will be grand opening specials only available at the new Farmington location. The Bank will also offer a Crack the Vault contest with cash prizes from Mon. Oct. 23 through Fri., Nov. 10. In addition, the community is invited to visit the Farmington branch during their open house week from Mon., Oct. 30 through Sat., Nov. 4, to meet the team, tour the branch, receive demonstrations of the new branch technology and have the opportunity to obtain giveaways.

This central location provides the opportunity for the retail team to work with existing commercial and private banking teams while also supporting a local nonprofit organization that contributes significantly to the Farmington community.”

My TellerSM, the Bank’s convenient solution to help customers bank on their own schedule, offers extended banking hours, Monday through Friday, 7AM to 7PM and Saturday, 8AM to 2PM. MyTellers℠ are also available for both lobby and drive-up use.

The branch manager, Divya Patel, and her team are available in the branch lobby Monday through Wednesday from 9AM to 4PM, Thursday and Friday from 9AM to 5PM and Saturdays from 9AM to 12PM to assist existing customers as well as those who would like to learn more about Berkshire’s products and services.
