January 25, 2018Berkshire Bank Hires Justin Buchanan, VP, Business Banking Officer in Albany, NY
Berkshire Bank, America’s Most Exciting Bank®, has announced the appointment of Justin Buchanan as Vice President, Business Banking Officer for the greater Capital District. Buchanan will bring industry leadership, community involvement, and extensive business banking experience as the Bank continues to attract high-level talent throughout the organization.
Buchanan, who will be based in the greater Capital District, brings more than 15 years of relationship management and business development experience to Berkshire. Most recently, he served as VP, Business Banking Market Manager at Citizens Bank. In this role he was responsible for leading a team of relationship managers throughout the state of New York while building a portfolio over 1,500 business customers.

Buchanan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta and his Master in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Active in the community, Buchanan serves on the Board of Directors for the Troy YMCA and Hudson Mohawk Recovery Center. He resides in Melrose, NY with his wife Megan and daughter.
