Bank of Greene County Celebrated Grand Opening in Clifton Park

Bank of Greene County, located at 1208 Route 146, Clifton Park, NY, marks its first branch in Saratoga County. This expansion follows recent openings in East Greenbush and Wolf Road, and reflects the Bank’s continued commitment to serving the Capital Region and Hudson Valley.

With over 135 years of service, the Bank’s unique ownership structure ensures it remains local and independent for generations to come. It offers full-service retail, commercial, and municipal banking, as well as wealth management solutions. The Albany Business Review recently ranked it the #1 Commercial Mortgage Lender in the Capital Region and the #2 fastest-growing company over $100 million across all sectors.

The celebration featured a Harvest Festival with breakfast items, coffee, a Chicken BBQ, photo props, and a live broadcast by The River radio station. For every new account opened, the Bank donated to a local nonprofit — reinforcing its commitment to community impact.

The Capital Region Chamber was honored to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of Member Bank of Greene County’s grand opening in Clifton Park.

Joining Chamber staff and Ambassadors were representatives from the Bank’s Board, CEO, regional and local leadership, as well as Mark Eagan, President and CEO-Capital Region Chamber, Tom Nolte – President Colonie Chamber, and Philip Barrett, Clifton Park Town Supervisor. Barbara Schrader and Ed Massa also attended as a Chamber Ambassadors.
