Donald Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County, announces employee promotions across the Bank. Donald Gibson stated: “Due to the continued growth and success of the Bank, it is my pleasure to announce we have promoted several dedicated employees to positions of increased responsibility within various departments. It is particularly rewarding to see first-hand how well our employees have grown their careers with us over the years.”
Joseph Rothrock has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Fire & EMS Financing. Joseph has been with the bank for over 13 years, having completed the Bank’s Management Training Program prior to joining the Lending Department, where he has held positions of increased responsibility. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University, a Master’s in Business Administration and certification in Organization Leadership and Change from the College of Saint Rose, and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is currently a member of the Palenville Fire Department where he serves as both volunteer fire fighter and treasurer.
Jon Halligan has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Municipal Banking. Jon has been with the Bank for over 10 years, beginning as an intern and working through the Bank’s Management Training Program before joining the Municipal Banking Team. Jon has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta, and a Master’s in Business Administration from The College of Saint Rose. He is also a graduate of Cairo Durham High School and the Graduate School of Banking at University of Wisconsin – Madison. Jon lives in Saugerties and is the Treasurer/Secretary of the Columbia-Greene Umpires Association. He also referee’s local basketball and sits on the IAABO Board #114.
Tabithe Grover has been promoted to Senior Cash Management Specialist within the Bank’s Operations Department. Tabithe has been with the Bank for 6 years, beginning as a teller before moving to the Operations Department. She is a graduate of Colebrook New Hampshire High School and Berlin Technical School in New Hampshire. In her free time, Tabithe enjoys gardening and other fun outdoor activities like go-carting and laser tag with her family.
Steven Hickey has been promoted to IT Systems Analyst within the Bank’s IT Department. Steve has been with the Bank for 7 years, and has held positions of increased responsibility in both the Branch Network and IT Department. He has an Associate’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia-Greene Community College and lives in Catskill.
Daniel Byas has been promoted to e-Communications & Marketing Specialist. Daniel joined the Bank’s marketing department over a year ago. He has an Associate’s degree in Business Accounting from Columbia-Greene Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from SUNY New Paltz. Daniel lives in Catskill and is a graduate of Catskill High School. In his free time, he enjoys listening to new music and traveling with his friends and family.
