June 25, 2025Bank of Greene County Announces Harjit Earnest as VP, Director of Retail Branch Network
Donald Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County, announced that Harjit Earnest has joined the Bank as Vice President, Director of Retail Branch Network.
“We are excited to welcome Harjit Earnest to our leadership team,” said Gibson. “She brings years of experience in supporting retail banking and the branch network, and we are confident she will play a pivotal role in driving our continued growth and commitment to customer service and innovation.”
Earnest joins the Bank of Greene County with over 25 years of experience working for Capital Region financial institutions. Most recently, Earnest served as Vice President/Area Retail Leader and Vice President/Home Lending Market Leader for Key Bank.
“I’m excited to join the Bank of Greene County,” said Earnest. “I look forward to working closely with our talented branch teams to enhance the customer experience and ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers, enabling them to achieve even greater success.”
Earnest attended Hunter College before transferring to the State University of New York at Albany for her degree in Business Administration. She is also a graduate of CBA Executive Banking School at Furman University, SC. Earnest is a past Albany Business Review 40 Under 40 recipient. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
