| Baker PR Welcomes Jason Politi as Public Relations & Marketing Specialist Jason comes to Baker Public Relations from Time Warner Cable News, a statewide 24-hour cable news channel. For nearly seven years, he worked as a producer and assignment editor responsible for daily production of news content, website updates, video production, managing on-air performances, talent direction, reporter and videographer assignments, monitoring breaking news, special event coordination and more. Jason’s responsibilities include regularly communicating with clients, providing writing services through media pitches and press releases, media relations, planning and campaign implementation, conducting research, content creation, and updating media lists. Jason leverages his extensive statewide media and business contacts to help strengthen and build relationships for our clients. Jason received a bachelor’s degree in Communications from The College of Saint Rose in 2007. He is active in the community volunteering with the City of Albany Rescue Mission and the Salvation Army. Jason resides in Watervliet and enjoys the outdoors and all the Capital Region has to offer. |

| Shelby McNeil Joins Baker PR for Summer Internship Ahead of her senior year at the University of Rhode Island, Shelby is spending the summer at Baker PR. She comes to us fresh off her semester abroad, studying in Florence, Italy as she works toward a dual major in Business and Textile Marketing and a minor in Leadership. She’ll be assisting staff in across-the-board duties over the next three months. Beyond the “real world” experience she hopes to gain in her time at Baker PR, Shelby hopes to learn a variety of marketing skills and techniques and the ins and outs of running a business. She aspires to break into the fashion industry after graduation. Shelby is originally from Coxsackie and enjoys cheering for the New England Patriots and listening to Nick Jonas. |

| Women’s Business Council 2015 Member-tini Networking Event
Wednesday, June 10 Lord & Taylor, Crossgates Mall 5:30 p.m.
Baker PR is delighted to be the marketing partner for this year’s Women’s Business Council Member-tini networking event on June 10. Guests will have the chance to learn about the Council’s various initiatives, find out how to get involved, and speak directly to the women already participating. This year’s event is being held at Lord & Taylor at Crossgates Mall, so it promises to be a night of fabulous fashion, fun and philanthropy.
In addition to the raffle prizes, drink specials, and hors d’oeuvres provided by Mallozzi’s, this year’s event will also include a special presentation “Putting Your Best Foot Forward” from Lord & Taylor’s Personal Fashion Advisor and Brand Ambassador Blair Brodar. Admission is $5 and event proceeds will be donated to the 2015 adopted non-profit, St. Paul’s Center. |
