March 8, 2023Arrow Family of Companies Donates 9,395 Volunteer Hours and $675,000 in 2022
The Arrow Family of Companies is proud to announce the donation of 9,395 volunteer hours and $675,000 by the Company and its employees during 2022 throughout its eight-county footprint from Albany to Plattsburgh. Overall employee volunteer hours increased 21 percent over 2021. Of the total giving, more than $103,000 was donated directly by employees via payroll contributions and fundraising.
During 2022, Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company, Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company and Upstate Agency, LLC supported more than 500 community organizations, business associations and local nonprofits to help meet the evolving needs of our communities.
In addition to financial contributions, team volunteerism is a big part of the company commitment to each community served. In 2022, almost 40 percent of the 9,395 volunteer hours logged impacted organizations assisting underserved people and communities.

I am especially proud of the significant increase in hours contributed by our employees,” said Arrow Financial Corporation President and CEO Thomas Murphy. “Making the time to help and support our neighbors is an important part of who we are as a Company.”
The 2022 charitable contributions benefited a range of causes, including financial empowerment, education, workforce support, basic needs, health and human services, safe and affordable housing, business and farm support and environmental sustainability. More than 70 percent of the donation dollars were dedicated to organizations helping low- to moderate-income individuals, families and areas.
