Anna Williams, owner of Pens Ink, appeared on WNYT Channel 13 – Today’s Women with Elaine Houston on Thursday, September 7. Anna discussed her initial interest in making handmade pens starting at 8 years old, and the opening of her pen business at 10 years old. Now, at 16 years old, Anna is in her 7th year in business and demonstrated the process and art of making a pen on a lathe, her unique niche of making pens with wood from historical sites all over the word. She also talked about the challenges of being a teenage entrepreneur and what she has learned about running a business.
