Amazing Grazing and Gifts Celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Scotia

After decades of caring for others through careers in nursing, Tina Lamphere and her husband have embarked on a new journey with the opening of Amazing Grazing and Gifts in the Village of Scotia. Their locally owned business offers handcrafted charcuterie, custom gift baskets, and thoughtfully curated gifts, creating a welcoming destination for celebrations, special occasions, and everyday moments.

The couple recently celebrated the business’s official ribbon cutting with the Capital Region Chamber and the Scotia Business Improvement District, joined by local business leaders, community members, family, friends, and elected officials.

Capital Region Chamber President and CEO Mark Eagan welcomed attendees and emphasized the importance of supporting local entrepreneurs, recognizing the strong community turnout in celebration of the business’s opening.

Village of Scotia Mayor David Bucciferro congratulated the owners and spoke about the important role small businesses play in creating a vibrant local economy. Karina Danielson, Secretary to Glenville Town Supervisor Bob Kirkham, highlighted the positive impact locally owned businesses have on the Mohawk Avenue business corridor and the surrounding community. Amazing Grazing and Gifts also received a Certificate of Merit from the New York State Assembly in recognition of its grand opening.

Ken Swain, Committee Member of the Scotia Business Improvement District, welcomed Amazing Grazing and Gifts to the Village of Scotia, describing small businesses as the economic engine of the community and recognizing the important role they play through both their economic contributions and community involvement.

Reflecting on their journey, the owners shared that opening Amazing Grazing and Gifts was inspired by a passion for serving others while creating more time with family and investing in the community they proudly call home. As they begin this new chapter, they look forward to welcoming residents and visitors alike with thoughtfully crafted offerings designed to bring people together.
