The Chamber was feeling fresh and healthy after attending the Therapeutic Wave Center ribbon cutting on Friday, October 18.
The Therapeutic Wave Center uses an FDA Regulated device that produces omni directional low frequency sound waves that promotes total body health. The acoustic sound waves vibrate the client’s cells, increasing fluid movement and assisting with the reduction of inflammation. Owner, Robert Duff, is a visionary and a leader with 24 years of experience in Navy Medicine as a Chief Petty Officer providing care to wounded warriors, veterans and their families. He has earned several degrees – in business management, sports and emergency medicine.
Robert became intrigued with alternative medicine while researching the business of Halotherapy and opening the Salt Den in Latham.
He feels that Wave Therapy would benefit his fellow veterans that have ailments and PTSD from being deployed, as well as the general population that suffers from inflammation, cellular health and chronic pain.
Robert chose 1692 Central Ave in Colonie because of its centralized location and the fact that it’s close to the Northway (I-87), allowing for easy access from all directions.
