Ally J. Shivka has been promoted to Art Director at Potratz Advertising in downtown Schenectady.
Shivka’s new role will include managing the team’s creative output. She will be working with other departments to build marketing campaigns and strategies that will help Potratz’s clients succeed.
“I have a passion for beautiful design and memorable campaigns,” Shivka said. “I want to help our clients turn their goals into effective campaigns and help our team produce exciting, engaging work.”
Shivka has been working at Potratz Advertising for almost five years. She began as a Graphic Designer in 2012 and over time, Shivka accepted a Senior Graphic Designer role. Now, she is taking on even more responsibility as Art Director.
Dan Allen, Vice President of Creative Services, works very closely with Shivka. “Ally is dedicated to making memorable campaigns for our clients,” Allen stated. “She’s goal oriented and makes sure we work as a team to get clients to their end goal. And that’s only part of why we chose her as our Art Director.
Ally J. Shivka graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Creative Writing.
