Tully Rinckey PLLC is pleased to announce it has acquired the law firm of Harris, Chesworth, Johnstone & Welch, LLP. The firm’s team, including Partners Donald O. Chesworth, Jeffrey M. Johnstone and Eugene Welch, will join Tully Rinckey’s Rochester office today located at 400 Linden Oaks.

A general practice firm, Harris Chesworth’s primary practice groups include general business, municipal liability, family and matrimonial, trust and estates, federal and state tax, real estate, litigation and insurance defense. Its attorneys bring diverse backgrounds and involvement in both government and private practice, servicing individuals, businesses, municipalities and nonprofits in a variety of industries. Additional practice groups at Harris Chesworth’s included arbitration and mediation by a former appellate judge.
As a Partner, Donald O. Chesworth will continue to serve both local and international law enforcement communities while engaged in private law practice. His areas of concentration are real estate, general business and municipal liability. Partner Jeffrey M. Johnstone’s practice will include estate planning and administration, general business representation and federal and state tax matters, while Partner Eugene Welch’s practice will encompass federal and state litigation and governmental issues. Welch also will continue to provide his services as a Certified Federal Court Mediator in litigation matters.
In addition to Chesworth, Johnstone and Welch, three additional Attorneys, three Of Counsel and four support staff will join the Tully Rinckey PLLC Rochester team.
