June 1, 2017Albany’s First Hacking Conference Announces Speakers
ANYCon, Albany’s first ever conference on hacking, announced today its full lineup of speakers. The event, which will take place on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17 at the Albany Convention Center, will feature presentations from regional and national cybersecurity experts. Presentations will cover various topics on computer software, cybersecurity, information security and hacking.
Dave Kennedy, the founder and principal security consultant of TrustedSec, LLC., will serve as ANYCon’s keynote speaker. Kennedy is the former chief security officer for a Fortune 1000 company, is the co-author of Metasploit: The Penetration Tester’s Guide, creator of the Social-Engineer Toolkit (SET) and co-founder of the well-established DerbyCon in Kentucky. He will present on the current state of the cybersecurity industry and its impact on the world.
“We’re thrilled to have Dave Kennedy as our keynote speaker,” said Tyler Wrightson, founder of Leet Security and ANYCon organizer. “He will kick off a program filled with a lot of knowledgeable and interesting presenters. Guests will leave feeling educated, entertained and enthusiastic to apply their new insight on cybersecurity in the real world.”
