March 29, 2018Albany Med Opens 9th EmUrgent Care Facility in the Town of Rotterdam
The Chamber, along with its Ambassadors, local officials, medical staff, friends and family were all on hand to open the brand new Albany Med EmUrgentCare facility in the Town of Rotterdam on Thursday, March 29th. Mark Eagan, the Chamber’s CEO, discussed the importance of these facilities in making our community a healthier place. He also pointed out the mission of Albany Med and how the EmUrgentCare facilities are an extension of that mission. In 2017, they saw over 100,000 patients at their 8 EmUrgent care locations. Of those, 97,000 would have most likely been an emergency room visit. The Chamber is proud of those numbers and the economic impact it has on local businesses and employees.
