Albany Hires Talent in Multiple Divisions

Aaron Film (Design Engineer), Joseph Amato, P.E. (Senior Project Engineer-Mechanical, Assistant l), Ron Barbato (Senior Construction Inspector) and Michael Collard (Assistant Project Manager) have all joined national architecture, engineering and planning firm Bergmann.

Film graduated with Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a concentration in Environmental Engineering from Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, PA. Most recently, he worked as a gas pipeline inspector for the NYS Department of Public Service. He reviewed and interpreted code / investigated damage incidents / audited field/records / code enforcement and conducted on-site interviews for gas pipeline damage.  He currently lives in Troy, NY.

Amato graduated from Union college in Schenectady, NY, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Before coming to Bergmann he worked at Lewis Engineering, P.C., in Albany, NY / Delta Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors as a Senior Project Manager. Amato has managed and directed multi-trade teams for design of projects, dealt directly with clients for coordination, helped with project design, met with clients for purpose of obtaining work and developed project proposals and fees and worked with less experienced employees to improve their design abilities and knowledge.

Collard graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Architecture. Before coming to Bergmann, he worked at ENVISION Architects, DPC asan  Architectural Designer and then Associate.  Collard is experienced in all aspects of design and construction, including code evaluation, programming, schematic design, construction documents, construction administration, and project management. He has been successful in mentoring, IT management, business development, client communication and has a professional rapport with others through project and leadership collaboration. He currently lives in Troy, NY
