June 27, 2018Albany Business Review Lists Bestpass Among Fastest Growing Companies in Capital Region
Bestpass, a company that provides single-source payment and streamlined toll management services to commercial fleets, was recently listed at number 10 on the Albany Business Review’s 2018 Fastest Growing Companies List.
The Albany Business Review ranked companies throughout New York’s Capital Region based on three-year local revenue growth. In summarizing the 50 companies that made the list, the journal wrote, “… they’ve all hit on something that makes them stand out among their peers. It may be a strategic change, a new product or a different location, but they’ve found the right formula.”
Bestpass has grown rapidly, adding more than 100,000 deployed toll transponders each of the past two years, bringing the company’s total customer volume to more than 430,000 transponders on the road and more than 200,000 toll transactions every day. The company also hired more than 20 people over the past year, bringing its total number of employees to more than 70.
“We’ve been in the midst of explosive growth for several years now, and we see every day the impact that we have in helping our commercial customers save time and money on their toll management,” said John Andrews, president and CEO of Bestpass. “However, being recognized by our local business journal among dozens of other impressive companies is a welcome affirmation of how successful we’ve been to date, as well as an encouraging milestone on our path to future growth.”
