May 18, 2022Albany-Area Business Opens its Doors to Capital Region BOCES Students
Students in the Capital Region BOCES Network Cabling Technician/Smart Home Technology program spent a day recently learning from trainers and technicians BOCES business partner Spectrum Communications.
The students in Ed Henson’s class visited Spectrum’s indoor training center in Albany, its pole and ladder training center and learned all that the company’s cable and telecommunications technicians carry with them in their trucks and vans.
“It was a very informative visit,” said Henson. Spectrum is one more than 300 Capital Region BOCES business, union and education partners that provide career opportunities for students, while also ensuring students receive the training required for the careers of today and tomorrow.
