October 30, 2024Adirondack Floating Dock Shop Celebrates Expansion
The Chamber had the pleasure of attending the ribbon-cutting celebration for the building expansion at Adirondack Floating Dock Shop in Edinburg, located in the beautiful northern part of Saratoga County. The Smith family, led by Lisa and Joe Smith—who moved their family from Katonah, NY a few years ago—has deepened their roots in the area with this expansion. Their children, Peter and Julia (who resides in southern Saratoga County with her husband), share a strong interest in the family-owned business.
Adirondack Floating Dock Shop has garnered praise for its exceptional craftsmanship in creating residential and commercial docks, moorings, decks, and deck chairs. Senator Jim Tedisco joined us to commemorate the occasion, along with Edinburg Acting Supervisor Bob Anderson. Photos of the ribbon-cutting ceremony were kindly provided by Senator Tedisco.
It was a wonderful day to celebrate a growing local business while taking in the stunning scenery around Great Sacandaga Lake.
