Accreditation of Programs at Huether School of Business Reaffirmed

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners has reaffirmed accreditation of the business programs in the Huether School of Business at The College of Saint Rose.

The business programs at Saint Rose were first accredited by ACBSP in 1995. The College is required to go through the reaffirmation process every 10 years to maintain ACBSP accreditation. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes offered through the Huether School of Business meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.

Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral programs.

“The College of Saint Rose has shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP chief accreditation officer Dr. Steve Parscale. “This reaffirmation of accreditation is evidence that The College of Saint Rose and the Huether School of Business are committed to maintaining the highest quality business education for their students for the next 10 years, just as they have done for more than two decades.”

“I am very pleased that we are able to offer high quality programs that transform business students into business professionals. If your goal is to pursue a productive and rewarding career in business, then Saint Rose can open those doors for you,” said Dr. Gretchen Guenther-Collins, interim dean of the Huether School of Business.
