A&A Marble and Granite Ribbon Cutting

The Capital Region Chamber and Colonie Chamber of Commerce teamed up to cut the ribbon at A&A Marble and Granite, 524 Congress St, Schenectady. Owner Angela Robles and her family were elated to bring this MWBE-owned business to the Mont Pleasant section of the city. She is transplanting the business from Watervliet, and reorganizing it into a firm that specializes in the amazing selection of marble and granite seen in the photos. These would make a great addition to any kitchen or bathroom, and more!

Pastor James Bookhout of The Bridge Christian Church and the Mont Pleasant Merchants Association joined us for the occasion with words of welcome and inspiration, along with Schenectady City Councilmember Doreen Scarchilli Ditoro, Mia Comenzo representing Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, and Alex Blizinski on behalf of Senator Jim Tedisco. Business members of both chambers were also there to share their well wishes, and my staff colleague Danielle Davis, who administers the massive BIPOC program for the Capital Region Chamber was also on hand to share her thoughts, good wishes, and excitement at this new business opening in the City.

All 2023 ribbon cuttings of the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates are sponsored by the Saratoga National Bank & Trust Company .
