A Day of Free Fun for the Family & a Free Evening Concert by “The Refrigerators” from 6-8:30pm

Ballston Spa is reimagining a Village tradition, as “Family Fun Day” will be held on Sunday, August 21st from 1-6 pm, followed by a FREE concert by the legendary band,
“The Refrigerators” from 6-8:30pm the same night. Front Street in Ballston Spa will be closed off and filled with 10 of the largest BOUNCY HOUSES in the Upstate area along
with lots of fair games and prizes, crafts for the kids, music, and entertainment – all FREE to the community. Affordable food will be provided by local community nonprofit
groups. This will be an affordable FUN day for everyone to come and enjoy the Village of Ballston Spa. FREE Parking is available at the County Parking Lot on West High Street or on the
surrounding streets in the Village. Special needs or handicap parking is available close to the event.

Mayor Frank Rossi, Jr. said, “Everyone is invited to this free community event, and we want this to be a fun day for everyone, without them needing to worry about the cost.”
Mayor Rossi has worked with the Village Board of Trustees to bring back the beloved community events, and he has worked hard to guide a dedicated group of volunteers to
organize the first of many programs that center around the hardworking families that live in the Village.

“The Village slogan ‘A Village of Friends’ is more than just words to me,” Mayor Rossi explained. “It’s a commitment to putting the residents’ needs and concerns first.”

With the growing costs of food and energy, Mayor Rossi with the Village’s Board of Trustees acknowledged that families need affordable alternatives for recreation and entertainment. Additionally, this event was made possible through the generosity of many local businesses and individuals in and around the Village, such as Curtis Lumber, Greenwich Ford, Assemblywomen Mary Beth Walsh, Senator Jim Tedisco, the BSBPA, Community Emergency Corp., the Army National Guard, Liz Joy, Stewart’s Shop, Mangino Chevrolet, St. Mary’s Church, Rebuilding Together, Mohican Hill Apartments, Dave and Donna Dardaris and many others.
