400+ Miles on a Bicycle for the 4th Year in a Row

He’s doing it again…the 4th consecutive year of peddling for 8 straight days!

Cycling enthusiast and Board member of Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region, John Reschovsky will ride more than 400 miles from Buffalo to Albany in the 19th annual Parks & Trails New York’s Cycle the Erie Canal bike trek.

And once again, he is riding as a fundraiser to Girls Inc. In 2015, John raised more than $10,000. Last year, total pledges and donations exceeded $13,000. He has surpassed that amount this year, with pledges still coming in.

We’ll share with you his daily journal of the 8-day rain-or-shine trek so you can follow his progression, and hear about the day’s riding conditions and interesting sites along the trail.

Find John’s daily journal, with photos, on Girls Inc.’s facebook page (a facebook account is NOT necessary to view).
