22nd Annual Dessert Spectacular

The Independent Living Center of the Hudson Valley is again hosting its highly anticipated annual fundraiser, the Dessert Spectacular, on April 19 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Franklin Plaza in Troy. This year marks the 22nd anniversary of the event and ILCHV expects between 250 and 300 people in attendance. Participants can indulge in desserts from the Capital Region’s best restaurants and bakeries while supporting the Independent Living Center of the Hudson Valley at the beautiful and elegant Franklin Plaza Ballroom in Troy.

Since 1987, the ILCHV has fostered independence for individuals with disabilities who live in the capital region by providing direct outreach, empowerment and education. The energetic and committed staff advocates for the rights of people with diverse disabilities and foster their independence.

There will be desserts for every palate. While supporters sample scrumptious sweets from the local restaurants, and listen to live music of GoodSir there will also be a chance to participate in a silent auction with 30 items, tickets, and services donated by businesses throughout the Capital Region and beyond worth between $10 and $1200. . There will also be wine pull and a raffle.

Tickets to this event are $35. For students/seniors/consumers, tickets are $10. You can either mail a check to the ILCHV or pay at the door.
