2017 Schenectady Restaurant Week Takes a Bite Out of Winter

February 20-26
24 Schenectady County restaurants will offer fixed-price meals for $25

Restaurants in Downtown Schenectady and nearby Schenectady County locations will be cooking up a delicious cure for the winter blues during the 12th annual Schenectady Restaurant Week, taking place February 20-26, 2017. Throughout the week, 24 restaurants will offer special fixed-price menus for $25, featuring choices from among a selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Schenectady Restaurant Week is a joint promotion of the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC) and the Chamber of Schenectady County, an affiliate of the Capital Region Chamber.

Said Mark Eagan, CEO of the Capital Region Chamber, “The community really comes together to support Schenectady County’s restaurants during this annual promotion. This year, with an impressive selection of participating restaurants and an influx of visitors to Rivers Casino at Mohawk Harbor, we have the opportunity to introduce more guests than ever before to Schenectady’s popular dining scene and pump additional dollars into the local economy.”

Said Jim Salengo, Executive Director of the DSIC, “We always encourage people to enjoy more than one activity when they come to visit. During Schenectady Restaurant Week, we hope guests will make a night of it by pairing a delicious dinner at one of our amazing local restaurants with a visit to one of downtown’s popular attractions, such as Proctors, Bow-Tie Cinemas, or the brand new Rivers Casino.”
