May 5, 20161st National Bank of Scotia Hires Johanna Roman, Assistant Vice President
Johanna Roman is currently assigned to the Main Office and will assist in the daily management of the office. In her new position, she looks forward to “growing and motivating her team to provide a satisfying and enjoyable banking experience for all customers.” Roman brings over 9 years of banking experience to 1st National Bank of Scotia, with areas of expertise in branch management, residential mortgage education and lending practices. She was formerly a Community Development Loan Officer with KeyBank and prior to that a branch manager at TrustCo Bank. In her past experience she has gained an understanding that “customer service is key. If you put customer service as a top priority, the outcome for both the customer and bank tends to be beneficial.”
In addition to her business commitments, Roman is an active volunteer for the Capital Region’s Toys for Tots drive.
Roman currently resides in Glenville with her husband and two children.
