The Chamber was thrilled to celebrate the ribbon cutting for 
Graham’s Coffee Parlor at their new location, 1 North Church Street in Schenectady. This marks their second location, along with their original spot at 3406 State Street. Owner Katryn Malen moved back to Schenectady in 2016 after gaining valuable experience managing specialty coffee shops in New York City for five years. The specialty coffee scene was just starting to bloom in the Capital Region, and she continued to cultivate it, culminating with the opening of her two locations. This second one is really special because it is inside the Stockade Inn, a renovated hotel that brings a special dimension of class to the Stockade district. “I’m a people person,” says Katryn. “Coffee shops have a unique ability to bring people together, to foster connections and conversations. I dreamt of having a team that could create meaningful experiences for all who walk through the door.” Congratulations to Graham’s Coffee Parlor on this exciting expansion!
