CSArch Appoints Executive Principal

CSArch announced the promotion of Tina Mesiti-Céas AIA LEED Green Assoc. to executive principal. Tina will serve on the firm’s executive board with Daniel Woodside AIA, Richard Peckham AIA, and Thomas Ritzenthaler AIA.

Tina joined CSArch in 2007 as a senior associate. In 2014 she was promoted to principal and in 2015 to managing principal. Her appointment to executive principal is her third promotion in four years.

Tina’s portfolio features multiple award-winning projects for which she provided design leadership, including Pioneer Bank’s Downtown Albany Branch Renovation, Merit Design Award; Albany High School Redesign, Citation Design Award; Cohoes City School District’s Additions and Renovations, Honor Design Award; and Malone Central School District’s Capital Improvements, Honor Design Award. Each of these awards were granted by the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

She has nearly 20 years of experience in the design of educational, corporate, institutional, and mixed-use public and private facilities. Collaborators and colleagues alike recognize her innate ability to translate clients’ ideas and wishes into exceptional projects and for providing knowledge-based solutions that inspire and improve daily life.

She oversees project development, ensures design quality, and works collaboratively to support an integrated design approach throughout programming, conceptual design, and design development. Tina is also integral in firm-wide management, marketing, and strategic planning.

Tina is the president-elect of the American Institute of Architects, Eastern New York region (AIAENY) and a member of the Society for College and University Planning and the United States Green Building Council. She is also a former secretary for the New York Chapter of The Council of Educational Facilities Planners International and a past design studio critic for Hudson Valley Community College and the New York Institute of Technology.

Tina is a graduate of the Leadership Tech Valley Class of 2014. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is a registered architect in New York State.
