Geoffrey Rightmyer Has Been Promoted to Vice President

NBT Bank Regional President David Krupski announced that Commercial Banking Relationship Manager Geoffrey Rightmyer has been promoted to vice president.
Rightmyer is responsible for developing and managing business relationships with the bank’s commercial and business customers in the Capital Region. He is based at NBT Bank’s Capital Region Financial Center located at 80 Wolf Road in Albany.

Rightmyer has 17 years of banking experience. He joined NBT Bank as commercial banking relationship manager in 2010. Previously, he was employed by Wilber National Bank, now Community Bank, as a commercial banker. Rightmyer also served as assistant manager of Wilber National Bank’s credit department during his tenure there.

“Geoff has done an outstanding job of applying his knowledge of commercial banking and credit administration to support our customers with effective financial solutions,” said Krupski. “On behalf our team, I wish him continued success in his career.”

Rightmyer, a resident of Richmondville, has a bachelor’s degree in business economics from SUNY College at Oneonta. He has completed numerous banking industry courses through the New York Bankers Association and the Risk Management Association. He currently serves as treasurer of the Richmondville Volunteer Fire Department.
