Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company Announces Plans for Tenth Location in Schenectady

Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company is pleased to announce plans for a tenth location in the city of Schenectady.

The Bank is leasing space at 251 State Street, formerly a First Niagara Bank branch and currently home to the NYBizLab business incubator. Our new banking office will feature a full range of financial services, as well as a drive-up ATM and teller. Pending all regulatory approvals, it is expected to open later this year and will result in three new positions, including a manager and two tellers.

The Schenectady Office is Saratoga National Bank’s fourth new location in five years and its first in Schenectady County. This follows expansion to Rensselaer, Albany and Southern Saratoga Counties.

President and CEO David S. DeMarco said this latest branch strategically expands the Bank’s Capital District footprint.

“This branch addition will allow us to serve a key part of the Capital District that is undergoing growth and transformation. We are excited to bring our style of community banking to the residents and businesses of Schenectady County; our team is already hard at work building relationships there.”

Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company currently provides banking, investment, insurance and other financial services through nine Capital Region locations. It is rated a 5-Star Superior institution by BauerFinancial.
