Mirbeau Hospitality Services is launching an innovative, convenient, Day Resort concept in Albany at Crossgates Mall this fall, known as Spa Mirbeau.
Like the award-winning Mirbeau resort properties, Mirbeau Inn & Spa in Skaneateles, N.Y. and Plymouth, Mass., Spa Mirbeau at Crossgates Mall will be an ultimate haven where guests can escape, unplug, relax, rejuvenate and renew—inside and out. With world-class spa amenities, fitness and yoga programs, as well as French-inspired dining at Le Bistro and top-rated retail products at La Boutique, the 17,000-square foot facility will provide all of the renowned spa services of a full Mirbeau Resort, including the well-known Club Mirbeau fitness membership program.
“We created Spa Mirbeau to bring the Mirbeau Inn & Spa concept directly to our customers in the Capital Region, so they can enjoy the ultimate, yet classic, Spa Mirbeau experience close to home. Our goal is for Spa Mirbeau to become a normal part of the lifestyle available in the Capital Region,” said Linda Dower, principal, Mirbeau Hospitality Services. “We want guests to fully embrace our spa culture in the ‘unplugged’ atmosphere of simple elegance that we have created from our years of experience in developing and operating some of the best resort spas in the country.”
Designed by TPG Architecture, LLP in New York City, construction is now underway on the space located on the upper level, west end of Crossgates Mall. The Grand Opening is scheduled for fall of 2017. In addition to main mall access, there will be a special exterior mall entry to provide guests ease of access. Spa Mirbeau will offer a Resting Area with heated foot massage pool and cozy fireplace, an Aqua Terrace under a full sky light with a large hot plunge pool, locker rooms with eucalyptus-infused steam rooms and saunas and a fitness suite with a yoga studio and spinning room, as well as world-class spa treatment areas, a charming French bistro, retail boutique and more.

Mirbeau, loosely translated as “reflected beauty,” serves as the underlying concept for the brand, which embraces characteristics of French Impressionist art and simple elegance throughout its facilities, including soft light and warm colors.
