Close to two years ago, I was asked to propose a series of murals that would be printed as wallpaper and hung in the convention center that, at the time was just a hole in the ground. The ribbon cutting was March 1st.
The murals tout the unique and rich history of Albany as well as it’s natural and cultural assets. In addition to the main, 50 foot mural, there are five, themed panels and an “Albany then & now” panel. These images are a combination of photos, period engravings and drawing.
