Kirstie Young – Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Photographer from Schenectady, New York has graduated from SUNY Oswego with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, and has accepted a full time position at Printz & Patternz – P&P – Altamont Avenue Schenectady, NY. Kirstie specializes in illustration, hand lettering and photography. Kirstie is a member of American Institution of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and resides in the Upstate NY chapter. Kirstie is a very unique individual and loves working with others.
Growing up Kirstie had always dreamed of becoming an artist. When she decided to become a graphic designer, it opened up many different possibilities for growth and discovery. Kirstie discovered her passion for graphics, illustration and photography when she was in high school. College furthered her passion for the arts. She will be a great asset to the Printz & Patternz – P&P Team.
“My art is my voice, a powerful interpretation of my deepest thoughts, hidden emotions, strongest desires and most creative depths of my being says Kirstie. The images and pieces I create always have a meaning behind them, which is drawn rather then spoken. I consider myself a very unique and stylized artist who will continue to grow in the industry and encourage positive projects that could change lives.”
