Schenectady Landmark Restaurant Cornell’s Begins New Chapter

Chef Luca Brunelle, owners Connie Hume, Jack Hume, and George Ryon, celebrate the recent makeover and grand re-opening of Cornell’s in Little Italy with a ceremonial cutting of a 7-foot long loaf of bread provided by neighbor and fellow “Little Italy” landmark Perreca’s Bakery, this past Monday. They were joined by family, friends, local officials, staff and many customers.

Originally opened in 1943, Cornell’s in Little Italy has been completely renovated and will continue the tradition of serving classic Italian dishes combined with new regional elements. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday and has a banquet room available for corporate or private events.
