Albany County Bar Association Law Day 5K Run

The Albany County Bar Association (ACBA) announces the Annual Law Day 5K Run Against Domestic Violence slated for Thursday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at The Crossings, in the town of Colonie. Registration for the 5K is $35 and $20 for high school and college students. Day of Race registration is also available from 4:15 – 5:30 p.m. A fun run for children ages 12 and under will be held as well at 5:30 p.m. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers and the first place finishers in each age division. Refreshments will be available immediately following the event.

“Last year, over 300 runners participated in the Law Day 5K and we anticipate even greater participation this year,” said Daniel W. Coffey, ACBA President, “Due to the generosity of many sponsors, we have raised over $300,000 since the inception of the event, to benefit Organizations who offer much-needed assistance to victims of domestic violence through Albany County Bar Foundation grants.”
