Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP Welcomes Three New Associates

Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP, the Capital Region’s largest law firm, proudly welcomes three new associates: Jordan D. Chisolm, Tara MacNeill and Brendan Venter.

Chisolm-2Mr. Chisolm, formerly of New York City, obtained a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 2015, where he received the Dean John Sexton Prize for outstanding service to the Law School community.  Mr. Chisolm was a development Editor on the N.Y.U. Annual Survey of American Law, and served as student body President in his final year.  In addition, he graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance, cum laude, from George Washington University.  Mr. Chisolm worked as an intern for the Honorable Alexander Williams Jr. in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the Division of Enforcement and Neighborhood Services with the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

 

 

MacNeill-2Ms. MacNeill of North Greenbush, N.Y., graduated valedictorian from the Washington and Lee University School of Law.   She graduated, summa cum laude, with a B.A. degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton.  Ms. MacNeill was previously a summer associate at the Firm and a legal intern with the Roanoke County Commonwealth’s Attorney.

 

 

 

 

 

Venter-2Mr. Venter, of Delmar, N.Y., obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School, summa cum laude, in May 2013.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Spanish from the University of Notre Dame.  Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Venter worked as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Gary L. Sharpe, Chief District Court Judge with the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.  Additionally, Mr. Venter previously worked at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna as a paralegal with the Immigration Practice Group.  Mr. Venter is fluent in Spanish.
