SCPL Hosts “Today’s Multiple Sclerosis: Understanding Current MS Therapies”

The Schenectady Public Library will host “Today’s Multiple Sclerosis: Understanding Current MS Therapies” on Tuesday, November 10 from 6 – 7 p.m. at the McChesney Room at the Downtown Schenectady Branch, 99 Clinton Street, Schenectady.

Multiple Sclerosis attacks the brain, spinal cord and the optic nerves in the eyes. It produces problems with vision, balance, strength and other basic bodily functions, yet, its cause is unknown. Dr. Gomez, an MS Certified Specialist, will review Multiple Sclerosis, what it is, how it is diagnosed and how patients can make a decision among the current available therapies.
