SCPL Niskayuna Branch Library, 2400 Nott Street East in Niskayuna, will hold “Get to Know Your iPad” on Wednesday, October 14 at 6 p.m. and a second program, “iPad 2: Let the Tips Continue” on Monday, October 19 at 6 p.m.
About “Get to Know Your iPad”
What’s all the fuss about iPads? What is iOS 8? Do you have an iPad and want to feel more comfortable using it? Bring your questions and learn basic techniques of using an iPad. Bring your own iPad or borrow one of ours and explore the wonders of this new technology.

About “iPad 2: Let the Tips Continue”
If you know the basics of how to use an iPad but want to do more with it, come and learn some little known tips and tricks for using an iPad wisely. We’ll talk about taking photos, putting a slideshow together, and then sharing your efforts with family and friends around the world. We’ll talk about the mysterious “SIRI” and its role in gathering information. Bring your questions and share your favorite apps.
