August 27, 2015Marylou Whitney, Ogden Mills Phipps to be Honored Friday in Third Annual Red Jacket Ceremony at Spa
Horse owner and philanthropist Marylou Whitney and industry icon Ogden Mills “Dinny” Phipps will be honored in a special Red Jacket Ceremony to commemorate their achievements.
New York Racing Association CEO and President Chris Kay will present Whitney and Phipps with emblematic Saratoga red blazers. Kay also will unveil individual plaques celebrating their long and storied history as they take their place in the new Saratoga Walk of Fame.
The ceremony will be held in the winners’ circle at Saratoga Race Course at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, August 28.
