August 10, 2015Whitney Young Health Holds Open House During National Health Center Week to Celebrate 10th Anniversary of Troy Health Center
For 10 years, Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Center has provided access to affordable health services in Troy. On Tuesday, August 11 at 4 p.m., Whitney Young Health will join hundreds of other community health center organizations across the country during National Health Center week in celebrating the role of community health centers in improving the health of millions of Americans.
State and county officials, along with CEO David Shippee, will unveil Whitney Young Health’s plans to expand services to those with limited access to primary medical, dental and behavioral health care in the Capital Region.
The public is invited to attend a brief news conference followed by an open house. Troy Health Center staff will be on hand to provide tours and answer questions. Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Center is located at 6-102nd Street in Troy.
