Derek Gilbert Joins Mannix Marketing As Digital Marketing Strategist

Derek GilbertDerek Gilbert recently came to Mannix Marketing, Inc. with a wide range of experience and a passion for helping local businesses succeed, making him perfectly suited for the position of Digital Marketing Strategist.

“Derek is highly skilled and enthusiastic about helping clients increase their bottom line,” said company CEO Sara Mannix. “We couldn’t be happier to have him a part of the team!”

With a double major in Business Management and Marketing, Gilbert earned his bachelor’s degrees from Castleton State College (now Castleton University) in Vermont. While in college, a job at Staples gave him his first taste of sales. Since then, nearly a decade in the sales industry brought him through several different local positions, from banking to roofing, before he pursued his true passion and secured a marketing career at Mannix Marketing.

“I was looking for something totally different from my previous experience and was looking for something within my 2nd major, Marketing,” said Gilbert. “Offering advertising services to help put more money in my clients’ pockets is my true passion.”

As Digital Marketing Strategist, Gilbert will use his skills to help clients in the Capital Region effectively and efficiently expand their web presence, visibility and overall reach with more phone and web leads.

Outside of work, Gilbert is an avid sports fan, watching football, basketball, baseball, golf, and pretty much anything that comes on ESPN. He also enjoys playing golf and basketball, hiking, camping, swimming, and spending time with his beautiful wife and dogs.
