Baptist Health System seeks nominations for the Raymond Whitbeck Community Service Award. This is the fourth year the award will be presented to a member of the community in honor of Raymond Whitbeck, founding board member at Baptist Health System.
Ray Whitbeck set a sterling example for those he led and worked with in the human services field. A quiet and humble man with a great heart for others, his life was marked by community and church-related service in a variety of areas. His life’s work will continue to inspire us in all our efforts. In remembrance of Ray, who set the standard on a daily basis while never seeking recognition, we strive to acknowledge those in the community who give their time and talents in meaningful ways
This award will recognize a member of the community for exemplary service to others. Baptist Health System will donate $2000 to a charity of the winner’s choice* as a token of our gratitude.
Anyone in Albany, Schenectady ,Rensselaer, Fulton-Montgomery or Saratoga County who demonstrates commitment to the community is eligible. The award will be presented at Baptist Health’s Wine & Food Pairing event, being held on Friday, October 16 at River Stone Manor in Glenville. The winner must be available to receive the award at this event.
