June 30, 2015Mohawk Ambulance Service to Host Summer Safety Event
MOHAWK AMBULANCE SERVICE PARTNERS WITH LOCAL AGENCIES AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TO HOST SUMMER SAFETY DAY
WHAT: With summer in full swing, Mohawk Ambulance Service is partnering with Albany City and County agencies, along with the Boys and Girls Club of Albany to help keep Capital Region children and families safe throughout the season. The Summer Safety event will offer important tips for bicycle, pedestrian, water, child seat, and fireworks safety. Also, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in activities including ambulance and fire engine tours, face painting, safety demonstrations and more. JAMZ 96.3 will provide music and live remotes. Mohawk Ambulance Service will also be giving away safety coloring books and crayons, snow cones and beach balls.
The event is free and open to the public.
