BlueShield Employees to Present $8,000 to Local Charities

WHAT:

 

 Employees at BlueShield of Northeastern New York will present eight local charities Today with $1,000 checks at the company’s headquarters in Latham.
The donation is a result of efforts from BlueShield employees who contribute funds throughout the year for the organization’s Charity Fund. Employees contribute to this fund via payroll deduction, personal contributions, dress-down Fridays, and other events.
All employees were given the opportunity to vote and select the charities that would benefit from a long list of worthy organizations. BlueShield of Northeastern New York has been a “Best Places to work for seven consecutive years (Albany Business Review).
