Key Private Bank Adds Veteran Wealth Management Professional Joseph Macfarlane

Key Private Bank announced that Joseph Macfarlane has been named relationship manager for the Capital Region team. He is responsible for building and deepening relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, business owners and for-profit and nonprofit institutions. He will be based in KeyBank’s Capital Region headquarters at 66 South Pearl Street in Albany.

Macfarlane is a seasoned wealth management professional with more than 35 years of experience in financial services, investment management, fixed income trading and client relationship management. Previously, he was a private client advisor with Key Investment Services. Prior to joining KeyBank in 2020, he served as a municipal bond trader and fixed income specialist with CL King & Associates, First Albany Capital, Smith Barney and Salomon Brothers. His experience includes municipal bond trading, portfolio management, investment strategy, market analysis and regulatory compliance.

Macfarlane earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Delaware and holds FINRA Series 7, 66 and 63 licenses, as well as Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.

Macfarlane lives in Mechanicville, N.Y. He enjoys spending time with family and giving back to the community, having volunteered for Team Parents for Siena Cross Country, Bethlehem High School Track & Field Boosters, Bethlehem Pop Warner Football and Saint Thomas the Apostle Church and School.
