Morris Ford Captures 2026 Donate Life Dealer of the Year Award

Donate Life New York State (NYS), a statewide nonprofit dedicated to increasing organ, eye, and tissue donation, and the New York State Automobile Dealers Association (NYSADA) announced Morris Ford, Inc. as the second annual Donate Life Dealer of the Year award winner during a Sept. 10 press conference held at the dealership in Burnt Hills, NY. Donate Life NYS Executive Director Aisha Tator presented Morris Ford President Charles “Charlie” Morris and his dedicated staff with the award. State and local elected officials and other distinguished guests also attended the event.

The statewide recognition honors the dealership for its exceptional community engagement campaign that encouraged customers, staff, and the public to enroll as organ, eye, and tissue donors and financially support Donate Life NYS’ mission to save and heal lives during Donate Life Month this past April. Selected from among more than two dozen participating dealer rooftops by a panel of mission-connected volunteers at Donate Life NYS, the dealership took inspiration from a staff’s family member who recently underwent a heart transplant as well as Morris’ personal connections to Donate Life NYS’ mission.

While Morris Ford was selected this year’s winner, it is the 8,000 New Yorkers waiting for a lifesaving transplant who stand to gain most from this inspirational annual competition, receiving renewed hope and the promise of a second chance at cherishing life’s precious moments.
