Shake Shack Opens First Capital Region Location at Stuyvesant Plaza

Shake Shack officially opened its first Capital Region location at Stuyvesant Plaza in Albany, bringing the popular fast-casual restaurant and its signature menu to the area for the first time. Known for its made-to-order Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, hand-spun shakes, and frozen custard, Shake Shack has grown from a New York City hot dog cart into a nationally recognized restaurant brand with locations across the U.S. and around the world.

The new Stuyvesant Plaza location expands the dining options available at one of the Capital Region’s premier shopping destinations and adds another nationally recognized brand to the area’s growing retail and restaurant landscape.

Mark Eagan, President and CEO of the Capital Region Chamber, joined representatives from Shake Shack and Stuyvesant Plaza, local elected officials, and community leaders to celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
