Dannible & McKee, LLP, a leading certified public accounting and consulting firm, announced today that Victor W. Vaccaro, Jr., CPA/ABV, CFF, will begin his tenure as Managing Partner at Dannible & McKee effective July 1, 2026.

Vaccaro succeeds Christopher Didio, CPA, CFE, who is retiring after more than 40 years with the firm. During his time as Managing Partner, Didio helped guide the firm’s growth, strengthen its culture and reinforce its reputation as a trusted advisor to businesses throughout New York and beyond.

A partner with Dannible & McKee for more than three decades, Vaccaro previously served as Partner-in-Charge of Assurance Services and has more than 36 years of experience advising privately held businesses, government contractors, manufacturers, distributors and professional service firms. His expertise includes Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) overhead audits, business valuations, ownership transitions, mergers and acquisitions and forensic accounting. Throughout his career, Vaccaro has advised business owners and executives on growth strategies, ownership transitions, operational performance and financial decision-making, helping organizations strengthen profitability and create long-term value.

Vaccaro holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credentials awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) Business Valuation and Litigation Services Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of CenterState CEO. A Certified Public Accountant licensed in multiple states, Vaccaro earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Clarkson University, graduating magna cum laude. Beyond his professional responsibilities, Vaccaro is active in the community through leadership roles with the Manlius Family YMCA, the Onondaga Historical Association and the Northeast UAS Airspace Integration Research (NUAIR) Alliance.

“I have had the privilege of working closely with Vic throughout his career, and he understands both where we have been and where we are headed,” said Didio. “His leadership, technical expertise and commitment to client success have made a lasting impact on our firm and our clients. I am confident he is the right leader to build on our strong foundation and guide Dannible & McKee into its next chapter.”

As Managing Partner, Vaccaro will oversee the firm’s strategic direction, talent development and continued growth initiatives while maintaining its commitment to exceptional client service and industry specialization. He will focus on advancing the firm’s growth strategy, developing future leaders and expanding advisory capabilities to meet the evolving needs of clients.

“Our profession is evolving rapidly, and clients increasingly look to their advisors for strategic insight beyond traditional accounting services,” said Vaccaro. “I am excited to build on our firm’s strong foundation, continue investing in our people and capabilities and help our clients navigate change and seize new opportunities.”
